i am a very happy person right now, today i learned that i am a legit nurse among’st others who got the good news today as well.
kanina di ko napigilan umiyak, for i know this is the point wherein i can say na all my hardships didn’t went to waste. Oo octoberian ako at one point and felt na sobrang wala ng future ang lahat, pero i know everything happens for a reason, and everything fell into place. so by my last sem as an irregular, i strived hard and God was so giving he let me graduate with ceremonies and all - then my last hurdle came and as we all know, it’s the Board Exam.
when i studied for it, alongside my classmates and friends whom i’ve grown closer as my family, i did my best to pass every exam, burn the hours reading and learning different insights just to be at par with the goal, simply, I MUST PASS THE BOARD EXAM.
months passed as i studied for the two day exam, when the actual day came i though a landslide of nervousness will shatter me from answering the exam… but my faith, which grew stronger since my failure, kept me sturdy.
and today, i got the best news i’ve been waiting for a very long time. yesterday i was Adrian Villarina and now i am Adrian Villarina, RN.
for the precursors of my success i thank you and from the bottom of my heart i am forever in doubt, and for the catalysts of my downfall and those who belittled me……
this is the day i raise my middle finger point blank at your faces!
when i was a kid, i thought it was just a simple phrase regarding, well duh, crossing the road.
Today, it struck me that it’s a Proverb (and albeit not all proverbs are good) about dying - why did the chicken cross the road? i ask again. well getting to the other side meant heaven.
two decades in existence i can’t imagine that this day has been the best one yet, i think what made me happy is the feeling of being loved no matter what happened, who you are and what you did in the past.
today i realized that life is not about rants and the negatives. today i realized that things do come to being when you least expect them to be.
Thank You very much to everyone who made this day extra special. simple messages or those who went the extra mile for gifts - it’s all the same. YOU MADE ME HAPPY.
with this austerity and vigor, i am happy for tomorrow will be fine.
I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be “happy.” I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate. It is, above all, to matter and to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all.

turning twenty tomorrow gives me the opportunity to rant what i wanna have on my birthday. this gives me the reason to abuse my imaginary fairy god parent on the plausible list that will make me happy as i turn another year older.
